I too am glad -he says as he pulls back from the embrace and kisses his mothers forehead- So many things have happened… I really needed an embrace from my mother. I’m glad the Fates did me this one kindness.
-She brushes the hair from his forehead, smoothing it down on his head. She looks up at her son with a sad smile.- I know you have endured much. I am sorry I was not able to be there to embrace you when you needed it most. I will return again soon, and hopefully someday, I will be able to make up for what time has been lost.
